2024 Oyster Bay Triple Crown (Stage 1)

Triple Crown Series events are open to boats of the 49er, 49erFX, 470(Mix), ILCA 6, ILCA 7, and Nacra 17 classes.  All classes are open to all genders to promote the development of young sailors although to be eligible for prize grants you must be sailing in a configuration eligible for the `Olympic games'.

Each class, except non-Mixed 470, will have a Prize Grant Pool per Triple Crown Series NoR.   Eight (8) teams must compete in a class for that class to be eligible for the full prize pool for that regatta.  If four (4) or more teams but less than eight (8) teams in a class compete at an event, 50% of the prize grant pool will be allocated for that class in that event.

The Triple Crown Series event registration fee is $250 for a double-handed boat and $150 for a single-handed boat. 

TRIPLE CROWN REGISTRATION CLOSES - Two (2) weeks prior to each Triple Crown Regatta.  If less than 4 boats are registered in a class by the deadline the OA reserves the right to postpone or cancel that class.
