Collaboration and Celebration Annapolis Finale. Boat Show Entrance Included.

Celebrate at the Spinsheet Magazine Crew Party at Eastport Yacht Club Sunday 4-6pm.

It's a great weekend to travel to Annapolis!

The sessions in Annapolis will be held at the Annapolis Spring Boat Show, in the central tent which can hold about 80 people.  

We are combining the funding information into both the Athlete and Organizers Sessions (explained here)   Athletes and Funding will be Saturday from 4-6pm and Organizers and Funding will be Sunday 9-11pm.  There is a FUN Spinsheet Crew Party on Sunday after the show from 4-6 at Eastport Yacht Club. 

These are high-energy, entertaining working sessions for all types of sailors, parents, organizers etc.  The discussion is moderated by Oakcliff but we are very much looking forward to sharing what we think we know, with what you know.  As we tour around the country we are collecting wisdom to share. Bonus, as the is the end of the tour we'll have the total collective database from the season to share.

a) Athletes of all ages - What are your dreams? Plans? Options? What needs to be considered? What are the give and takes? Make an informed decision about your path forward to Olympics, Big Boats, Boat Ownership or a Career on the water.

b) Parents and those planning and providing funding - It's not just the parents. Do you have a Foundation? Where are other funding sources? Is corporate sponsorship an option? Corporate hospitality events? Co-working options?   For this session if you have a direct connection with an athelte please try to come to the Satruday session. If you are more on the club or foundation side, Sunday's sesion is better for you.

c) Organizers, Waterfront Directors, Coaches, Club Managers, Fleet Captains, Opti Fleet Leaders etc. etc. - What do we do best?  Define our lanes? Someone else in the area keen to take something off my plate? Go for it!  How can we help each other?  More isn't always better? Should we go slow to go fast? Small to be better?
